United For Peace and Justice (http://www.unitedforpeace.org ) is a coalition of more than 1300 local and national groups throughout the United States, including us. Join the movement for peace at Peace Think Tank (PTT). PTT is part of the United For Peace and Justice coalition, but with an international focus.
PTT provides peace information and education to a global coalition for peace. Our membership is international and includes people from all languages, beliefs and religions.
If all PTT members share a message with their own network of friends, a peace e-share can easily reach 500,000 people or more. When a peace message or article is also posted in the many online groups we are affiliated with using the many tools our group has access to, our direct exposure can reach an estimated 3,000,000 people or more.
The Peace Think Tank group is linked to an online membership of over 9,000,000 members on the Care2 network. All of these members have access to Peace Think Tank shares, news, discussions. Any one of these members as well as the general public browsing the web can view the peace related shares, discussions or news in this group. Power to the people is not just an empty slogan.
The Peace Think Tank has a huge database of peace reference information and education resources. Members can also send out or receive activist alerts, shares, or blogs.
Feel free to join the discussion, or just listen in. Subscribe to a daily digest, all individual posts or just come over and browse the threads without ever receiving any emails. As Dennis Kucinich says; "There is strength in peace." Discover this strength within as well as outside.
You have the option of becoming a Peace Think Tank Guest, Member, Peace Advisor or a Senior Peace Advisor. There is always room for leadership in the form of a co-host or board member. Our leadership posts revolve to give everyone access to important leadership positions such as Co-host. Democracy is alive and well in our community based group.
Feel free to get involved. Your actions do make a difference, no matter how small or infrequent. Post your peace related news articles, links to groups, discussions, poetry, quotes, blogs and more. Become informed. Teach others. Post an event, or link to your peace group or talk about a peace candidate. Local individual actions by just one person can and do make a difference.
Whatever we put our energy, time and money into grows. Why not put time, energy and some of your abundance into peace, and watch it grow? Peace can be grown, just like plants. All it needs is some time, attention and regular watering as well as periodic fertilizer.

Join the network and build a foundation of peace. The Republican Party machine was built on a foundation of Conservative Think Tanks. That same technique can be used to create a sustainable movement for a peaceful future.
